Doing this all in one day, because hahahahaha posting every day.
Day One:
Ten random facts about yourself.
I cut my nails with my craft scissors.
I put things on shelves instead of in drawers because invisible things don't exist.
I have a pine cone collection. Not labeled or anything. Just a bunch of pine cones.
I can't stand unfrozen yogurt.
I have unfinished craft items from the 1990s.
I found a huge turkey feather in the street the other week! (I know it's a turkey feather because I've seen the turkey.)
I am currently plotting a blanketfort, because of
reasons.
This book was in my equipment bag on the day of my black belt test.
I have read nearly everything that Abraham Lincoln ever wrote, and could stand to read it again.
When I have scrap paper of any color, it usually ends up as paper cranes.
Day Two:
Nine things you do every day.
...I'm actually not sure there are nine things I do every day besides things everyone does.
Wake up
Consume multivitamin
Write words
Avoid paperwork
Hunt for music
Turn lights on and, later, off
Open the fridge and stare for a while
Have way too many ideas
Headdesk about headdesking too much
Day Three:
Eight things that annoy you.
Politics
Arguments based on attacking the other side rather than exploring the actual facts
Walking clouds of perfume/cologne
Missing the bus
No seats on the bus (bonus: people taking up the seat next to them with backpacks)
People being wrong on the internet
The Moff-RTD Wars (seriously, just stop)
Batteries running out
Day Four:
Seven fears/phobias. (Kind of personal, this one, isn't it?)
Getting flak for writing
Writing badly
Writing something that gets misinterpreted
Writing something wrong or harmful to others
Writing that doesn't get finished
Writing that hurts
Not writing
Day Five:
Six songs that you’re addicted to. (At the moment.)
David Holmes -- The Story of the InkThis Radioactive/My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark mashupPacific Rim main theme (also
Call Me Newt and everything else on the soundtrack fight me)
Rusted Root -- Send Me On My WayJourney -- City of HopeAnnie Lennox -- When Tomorrow Comes Day Six:
Five things you can’t live without.
Air
Water
Gravity
Words
My friends
Day Seven:
Four memories you won’t forget.
Searching for lost marbles between boulders in the backyard brook on a cold sun-drenched spring morning
Being stuck on the wrong bus in a strange country on a foggy midnight with no idea where I'm about to end up, and the X-Files theme comes on over the bus radio
Being completely tongue-tied and frozen when our group met Eckert at ElecTRONica fsndkaglfldfkjs
Reading Bleach for the first time and staring at the art
Day Eight:
Three words you can’t go a day without using.
Awesome
Augh
Srsly
Day Nine:
Two things you wish you could do.
Read music
Fly (anywhere, anytime, but particularly in space)
Day Ten:
One person you can trust.
There are a number of people who belong here. Not going to narrow it down, but ilu.<3
