..Must we do this again, lj? In lieu of that mess (y'all know where to find me on
Dreamwidth if you decide you prefer it there, especially right now when no invite codes are required till the end of the year~), have some (spoilerish) neepery which, for once, is not about Tron.
NCIS and NCIS:LA: I have not been keeping up with them, much as they're favorites of mine. Haven't seen a single episode this season. Will have to remedy that soon.
Men in Black III: exists! And it's about time travel! And there's a trailer! And I gleed a lot about it!
Doctor Who: I'm sad that the Confidential was canceled, happy that River will be back next season, sad that the Ponds are leaving -- but companions leave; it's the nature of things and I'm looking forward to adoring the next one(s) -- and looking forward to the holiday special. Also,
humansrsuperior made a beautifully hilarious and hilariously beautiful Confidential vid, which is
here. And I could watch Karen and the Babes mess around being dorky and awesome all day.
Sherlock: has had a scene or two come out, and it made me giggle madly. "Didn't you hear me? I said punch me in the face!" "..I always hear 'punch me in the face' when you talk, but it's usually just subtext." Can't wait. :D
Naruto: here is an actual panel from this week's issue.
I've said all the PLZ DON'T DIE, GAI, YOU'RE FOREVER MY FAVORITE stuff about previous fights he was in, and it all goes for this one too, but that panel killed me ded.<3 And also, he continues to be terrible at telling people apart. :D
The Hobbit: has a
trailer out too, and there are so many good things to say about it. Bilbo! Gandalf! Galadriel~! Bilbo again! The dwarves piling through the door! Chip-the-glasses-and-crack-the-plates! Bilbo running after the troop with that long letter in his hand! I'll stop here, because just... the entire trailer: yesss. But what especially hit me, and still does, was that song.
I've been waiting for a good melody for the Misty Mountains song since I was seven. And that melody, and the way it was sung, hit all the right buttons, and I found myself, like Bilbo, shivering and feeling a world I'd never recognized opening up around me.
Forgetting something, probably, but I'm tired. More art and ficlets coming up soon, though. And... well, there's something to say about Tron after all:
kikibug13 wrote me a ficlet, and it's about programs and their Users playing in the snow, and it's beautiful and sweet and side-splittingly funny and glowing with love, and
here it is, so go read it. Thank you so much, Kiki!~
