Okay, now we have snow. 0.5 cm of it, that is. \o/
Random stuff involving Ian Carmichael:
Ian Carmichael and William HartnellIan Carmichael and Paul Darrow..speaking of which,
why is Paul Darrow suddenly the Sheriff of Nottingham??
I can't find any clips of Carmichael as Bertie Wooster (opposite Dennis Price as Jeeves), but this is the internet; no doubt they'll appear in due time.
Memetime, 'cos if I don't post them now they're not gonna happen.
Taken from
shortitude and
abandonreality:
-Getcher RP cast, played presently, dropped, w/e
-Go find just one PB icon for them [For help, try hollow art]
-Assemble your PB'd cast
-Post (or just reply to this one)
-Profit
("PB" apparently translates to "what the character would look like in live-action instead of animation", but darned if I can figure out how.)
Maito Gai (someone's cosplay, but it's brilliant so who cares)
Bob the Ghost (wellll he was PBd at the start)
Jei-san (human AU)
Vash the Stampede (hair should be longer, but it works)
Zangetsu (also cosplay, also brilliant)
Toshiro Hitsugaya (.......*bricked*)

box_of_doom: Once you are tagged you must post this in your journal and list 6 of your weirdest habits/tendencies/facts about you. They can be serious, silly, ridiculous -- whatever! Then tag six more people at the end.
1. I double-check things waaay too many times. Closed the door? Going back at least once to make sure somebody didn't unlock it. Posting a fic? Double-checking all the formatting and grammar at least twenty times to make sure it isn't horrible. Etc.
2. I use 'Ossu' and 'Yosh' in everyday conversation. (The 'Ossu' actually predates my anime studies, coming all the way back from my years in Tae Kwon Do.)
3. I like radishes. (Weird.)
4. I tear up little squares of paper to use for bookmarks. When I'm done with them, I make them into tiny paper cranes.
5. I raise one eyebrow when curious or skeptical. (It's a carefully cultivated habit.)
6. I use karate trophies as bookends. :D
From, uh, I don't remember who I got this from: Put your MP3 player on shuffle, and write down the first line of the first twenty songs that have comprehensible lyrics. Post the poem that results. The first line of the twenty-first is the title.
Pack Up
Try to make it last
Follow through
Life, thin as a thread
The wonderful thing about Tiggers
Let the rain come down
Wouldn't it be great if no one ever got offended?
I am the fountain of affection
Send a heartbeat to
David walked into the valley
Well, there's a pain in my side
Holiday quiet on these streets
Gonna tell you a story 'bout a little town I know
Somewhere out there
The fire of desire's causing too much pain
This was a triumph
Scattered like gold
Time on your side that will never end
Everybody look around
Particle man, particle man
I haven't ever really found a place that I call home
And I have, of course, done this one before, but it doesn't get old: If you see this, quote The Middleman.
"Don't look at me in that tone of voice, young man!" -- Ida
