ART POST.
So remember when I couldn't talk about anything but the zanpakutou arc? Well, it's still being hilarious and brilliant and largely in character. L to R: Hyorinmaru, Zabimaru (and chibi), Zangetsu, Sode no Shirayuki, and Hozukimaru. Not-secret because I don't do secret communities. XD
What I picture happening after Hyorinmaru remembered whose zanpakutou he really was. Sadly, Photobucket shrunk the picture. >/ (See it full-size on
Deviantart.)
..And yet this picture didn't shrink at all. Odd business, whut? *snicker* (Note: this is what happens when you lowercase on a capslock community -- someone catches you and makes you draw a silly picture. XD)
And then I lowercased AGAIN. The person who caught me this time requested Byakuya, Ulquiorra, and a filler character (I'd never heard of Kano Ashido, but hey). Yachiru invaded the scene because Byakuya flatly refused to hold anyone else's hand. This picture probably says a lot more about the contents of my skull than I'd ever want to admit. >D
Unexpected Sir Integra is always unexpected. This version was drawn without any image reference at all, and so is mostly my own style, not the mangaka's.
..of course, this is largely my own style too. *snicker* Really, Hitsugaya doesn't get to be serious anymore after this filler arc. Hyourinmaru's shoulders should be broader and I haven't got the hang of his face yet, but his human form is a fun addition to the zanpakutou... uh... panzanon? And it is now part of my personal canon that he likes popsicles.
lizbee launched this train of thought. XD This is where Londo is at the beginning of the second season -- Morden whispering in his ear and Vir not yet capable of countering him.
This is here because I haven't drawn him in far too long. It shows. Still, YOSH.~
New favorite character! Well... actually Izumi fits that slot better, but Olivia Armstrong is pretty good too. Fullmetal Alchemist has finally sucked me in. Huzzah.
This.... is a wildcard. Inspired by a quote -- which I can't find attributed -- that Colin Baker would have preferred his Doctor to dress in dark colors (specifically black velvet), to showcase his darker personality, it used several image references but turned out unlike any of them. It may be the best Sixth Doctor I've drawn yet, and possibly the best piece of Wacom tablet art too; and yet it isn't entirely like him for some reason. Whatever the case, it turned out way better than I thought it would.
