I know I'm late commenting on this, and I'm sorry, but I've been trying to find things to say about this? because it's really...big, in its way, it encompasses so much, but I love the way you express this, like this not-quite purgatory that isn't really there at all. all your descriptions of their location are really powerful, honestly, especially when they tie into how sungyeol's coping and trying to hold on. you've put together a really powerful fic overall! as much as it makes me sad, because seriously, it's beautifully put together.
