YeominFrom: Your Secret Santa
Woo Hyun remembers the first time he met his boss’ son at a business party. Everyone was invited so the president could show off his one and only son, the future of the company. If Woo Hyun wasn’t at a formal gathering surrounded by all of his co-workers and his boss his jaw would have fallen to the floor when he first laid eyes on the other male. If the president hadn’t introduced the other as his son Woo Hyun would’ve assumed he was a girl. With the high cheekbones, perfectly almond shape eyes, smooth looking skin, and the smooth angles he didn’t really think anyone could blame him. Even the voice was pitched higher then a normal man’s pitch.
When the president introduced his son to Woo Hyun they shook hands, even the other’s fingers were thin and pretty like a girls. He was wondering if President Lee was actually lying and the person in front of him was actually a daughter and not a son.
“You’re really pretty,” one of his female co-workers said in awe, “How do you keep your skin so flawless.”
“I was born with it,” Sung Jong said with a laugh and everyone around him laughed too. Woo Hyun just blinked a few times as he stared at the other boy, he didn’t think the other was kidding. Is he really that arrogant?
From that day on Woo Hyun learned that his first impression of Sung Jong was hindered by the other male’s pretty face because from what the university student saw, the younger boy had no other redeeming qualities. All he had was his face and that seemed to be enough to get all of the female workers to ignore his arrogant and commanding attitude. Woo Hyun couldn’t stand it.
“Woo Hyunie hyung!” He had to fight the urge to roll his eyes as he placed a giant stack of papers on his desk. He turned around to face Sung Jong with a smile on his face.
“Yes sir?”
“I want coffee, go get me some.”
“I have to file all these papers be-”
“I don’t care,” Sung Jong said as he pulled out Woo Hyun’s desk chair and plopped down into it, “I want coffee, so go get me some. You wouldn’t want to deny your future boss, would you?”
“Of course not.” Woo Hyun threw a force smile Sung Jong’s way before turning around and heading out to get the younger boy his coffee. Before he was out of the office he heard Sung Jong laughing, he almost turned right back around and ordered Sung Jong to get his own coffee. Almost being the key word.

“Nam Woo Hyun, you seem to be slacking on your job.” Woo Hyun was called to the presidents office after a month of Sung Jong ordering him around, making him unable to do any of his actual work. “You were one of my best workers, what’s happening to make your work slip this much.” Woo Hyun’s eyes flickered over Sung Jong, the main reason he couldn’t get anything done, as he sat in the corner of his father’s office. Watching what was going on but not really doing anything help Woo Hyun. He was so tempted to say something about Sung Jong ordering him around like his little puppet but he kept his mouth closed. The president wouldn’t have believed him in the first place.
“I’m sorry sir.” He gave a deep bow before straightening himself out, “I’ll fix my problem.” He shot a quick glare Sung Jong’s way before giving another small bow and walking out of the office.
It hadn’t even been an hour since Woo Hyun left the president’s office and Sung Jong was in front of Woo Hyun, “I’m hungry, go get me something to eat.”
“Here’s an idea.” Woo Hyun didn’t even look up as he continued to type away on his computer, “Go get it yourself.” The area around them went quiet, but Woo Hyun paid his co-workers no mind as he kept typing as if he didn’t just say no to the future president of the company.
“I don’t want to.” Sung Jong moved his upper body so it was blocking Woo Hyun’s computer screen.
He looked Sung Jong right in the eyes, “Then starve.” He pushed away from his desk and made his way towards the bathroom. He ignored the stares that followed after him.
“It’s not smart to deny the future president of this company.” Woo Hyun was washing his hands as Sung Jong cornered him.
“Are you my current boss?” Sung Jong shook his head, “Then I don’t really care if you want me to do something for you, your needs aren’t that high up on my list.” He turned off the faucet, dried his hands, and turned to face Sung Jong. “Shall I remind you that I was almost fired today due to the constant orders that you only give me. May I know why you don’t order anyone else around, why is it only me?” Sung Jong opened his mouth to answer but Woo Hyun cut him off as he kept talking, “I don’t even care anymore, just leave me alone and let me do my job. You’re not my boss your father is and I’ll do what he tells me to do not what you tell me to do.” Woo Hyun went to push pass Sung Jong to leave the bathroom when skinny fingers wrapped around his wrist, making him stop with his hand on the bathroom door handle.
“What will you do when I do take my father’s spot?”
“We’ll have to wait and see won’t we?” Woo Hyun stood still before several seconds of silence passed between them, “But with the arrogance you carry around now I’d probably quit and find another job to pay for university and my living expenses.” He easily pulled himself from Sung Jong’s grip and headed back to work, he needed to get back on schedule and finish all the work that he’s fallen behind on.

“Myung, do you think you can introduce me to a good job?” Myung Soo looked up from his guitar with a frown in place.
“I thought you liked your job.”
“I do but I don’t think I’ll have it for long.”
“Why, did you sleep with the president’s wife?”
“I can’t believe you think I’d do something like that.” Woo Hyun picked up a pebble from the ground and half heartedly threw it at Myung Soo, “It’s the president’s son. He’s an arrogant bastard who thinks he can just order me around.”
“Wow.” Myung Soo strummed out a few chords, “There is actually someone on this world you don’t like?”
Woo Hyun let out a laugh, “If you meet him you’ll hate him too. He’s actually trying to threaten me with losing my job if I don’t do what he tells me to do and he’s not even the president of the company yet. His father actually was disappointed in me because I was falling behind on my job due to his son, but he just watched without saying a thing. I finally told him off today, I don’t think I’ll have a job tomorrow.”
“I’ll see if I can find anything,” Myung Soo told his friend, “I think Sung Gyu needs some help in his music store, but I’ll double check for you.” He stringed together a few chords before looking at Woo Hyun, “What if you don’t lose your job?”
“Then it’ll be a miracle,” Woo Hyun said dryly as he watched the clouds float by.

This is it. Woo Hyun thought to himself as he walked towards the president’s office, I’m going to lose my job…I hope Myung Soo found something. He arrived at the double doors just as the secretary was announcing his arrival. When he was told to enter the office he suddenly felt as if he was walking through molasses.
“Come take a seat.” President Lee motioned towards the plush chairs on the opposite side of his desk and Woo Hyun noticed Sung Jong sitting in the corner of his father’s office. The other was looking out the window instead of at Woo Hyun as he took a seat across from the president. He seems to realize how tense Woo Hyun was because he laughed and it made Woo Hyun jump just slightly, “Don’t worry your not here to be fired.”
“May I know why I’ve been called?”
“You’re getting a promotion of sorts.” His eyes widen a bit in disbelief and he heard a snort from the corner, it took all of his will power to keep from throwing a glare in Sung Jong’s direction. “Since my son is going to be working as a CEO here in order to learn how this company works, so I’m appointing you as his secretary to help him learn this company better. You’ve been here longer then any of my other employees and Sung Jong specifically asked for you to take the position. You’ll start tomorrow.”
Woo Hyun wanted to say no he wanted to stand up and say that he wasn’t going to work for his son, that his son just wanted him so the other would have to listen to him. So that the other could just order him around. He didn’t.
He stood up and bowed before walking out of the door. He moved towards his desk and fell into it; he let his head fall back so he could stare up at the ceiling. “Did you get fired?” He turned his head just slightly to see one of his co-workers and he shook his head, “If you didn’t get fired then why do you look like it’s the end of the world?”
“I would’ve rather been fired,” Woo Hyun said with a sigh, “Do you think President Lee will be disappointed in me if I just quit?”
“If you weren’t fired why do you want to quit?”
“Dong Woo,” Woo Hyun said as he turned his eyes back towards the ceiling, “I don’t want to be that arrogant son’s secretary, I finally got him to stop ordering me around and he turns around and tells his daddy to make me his secretary so I’ll have to listen to his orders.”

Woo Hyun is surprised when he enters Sung Jong’s new office to see the younger male actually working. The other greets him when he enters and only asks for things that were needed for work, which leaves Woo Hyun confused. He didn’t think the other was actually serious about working. It actually put him at ease. At least he was at ease until his work day was over.
“Why do you hate me?” Woo Hyun was a bit thrown off by the question, he had only come into Sung Jong’s office to tell the other one that he was heading home for the day. “You’re the only one who openly shows that you don’t like me, why? Did I do something wrong?”
Woo Hyun isn’t sure why but he answers, “It’s your attitude, just because you’re the bosses son you think that you can have everything.”
“And I can‘t?”
Woo Hyun rolled his eyes before giving a slight bow, “I‘m heading home for the day.” He wasn‘t expecting slim fingers to wrap around his wrist once he touch the door knob.
“You didn‘t answer my question.”
“Nobody gets everything they want.” Woo Hyun easily pulled his arm free from Sung Jong‘s grip and left the other‘s office to head home.
The rest of the week was pretty uneventful, when he went to Sung Jong‘s office there were no more weird questions and it was strictly work. Woo Hyun was still weary about the whole thing so when Myung Soo came up to him at the university and announced that he found a job Woo Hyun told him that he wasn‘t ready yet but he‘ll take it if anything happened at the office. Myung Soo looked at him strangely but made no comment about it.
Woo Hyun was letting his guard down around Sung Jong more often the longer they worked together because Sung Jong seemed to be keeping everything in check. Whenever he would call Woo Hyun into his office it was always about work or simply asking the other to get him a cup off coffee because he had to pull another all nighter in order to get everything done before morning.
“Do you want me to stay and help you?” If it was a few weeks ago Woo Hyun knows he would‘ve never asked the other male if this had been two weeks ago but the other was working so hard tat there were actually bags under his eyes from lack of sleep.
“Don‘t you have school tomorrow,” Sung Jong asked as he kept his eyes on the giant stack of papers in front of him.
“I have a day off tomorrow, that‘s why I‘m offering to stay.”
“I thought you hated me…”
“I have no need to hate someone who actually takes their job seriously enough to completely neglect the looks that they boast about to everyone who‘ll listen,” Woo Hyun said with a huff, “Do you want my help or not?”
“If you don‘t mind.” Sung Jong looked up from his papers and sent a tired smile his way.
“I‘ll take care of everything that doesn‘t need your signature, you can just rest. I‘ll wake you up when I finish.” Sung Jong looked at Woo Hyun curiously but couldn‘t complain as the other pulled him out of his chair and moved him over to the couch. It wasn‘t comfortable but as soon as Sung Jong‘s head hit the material of the couch he was asleep.
Woo Hyun looked at Sung Jong‘s sleeping form for a few minutes before turning his attention towards the messy office. Organization should come first. He moved towards Sung Jong‘s desk and started organizing the papers. Placing them in order of importance and stacks of finished and unfinished documents.
It took him a little over two hours to organize the office and when he looked at the clock it was already three in the morning. He let out a small yawn as he sat down in Sung Jong‘s chair and pulled the documents towards him. He was working on finishing off the documents for about an hour before his eyelids became too heavy for him to handle.
Sung Jong found him sleeping peacefully on the documents the next morning. “You said you were going to wake me up,” Sung Jong said quietly as he lightly poked the older male‘s cheek before straightening himself out. He looked around his office and realized that everything seemed to have a place; he looked down at Woo Hyun before quietly thanking the other. He pulled the remaining documents from underneath Woo Hyun and took them with him to the couch where he finished his work.
“Who‘s that?” Sung Jong looked up to see his best friend standing at the doorway of his office. He blinked a few times because he didn‘t even hear the door open.
“Why are you here Ho Won? Did we make plans together today?”
“What I just can‘t see come and visit after we haven‘t been hanging out for the past couple of weeks?” Ho Won looked at Sung Jong before he turned his attention back to Woo Hyun, “Who‘s he?”
“My secretary.”
“Oh that‘s him,” Ho Won asked as he moved into the office and closer to Woo Hyun, “This is the guy who doesn‘t like you but you like him because he treats you differently.”
“Shut up.” Sung Jong threw a punch to Ho Won‘s arm but the other was unaffected, “Did you really just come here to see me?”
“Not really I wanted to get a glance of Jongie‘s obsession,” Ho Won said with a smirk as he turned and leaned on the desk, “Why don‘t you give him a little kiss?”
“You need to get out of here,” Sung Jong said as he grabbed Ho Won‘s arm and easily pulled the other towards the door, it was only easily because Ho Won wasn‘t putting up any type of fight, “If he wakes up and hears your nonsense then I‘m going to have to send someone after you to kick your ass.”
“Who?”
“I have my ways of getting someone to do what I ask of them.” Ho Won rolled his eyes at Sung Jong‘s words but said nothing else before waving goodbye and walking out the door. Sung Jong returned to the work he had left before Ho Won had barged in but instead of looking at the paperwork he found himself stealing glances at Woo Hyun‘s sleeping form every few seconds. It got to the point where Sung Jong actually abandoned the paperwork and walked over to Woo Hyun‘s side.
He’s handsome. He noticed it when they first met but he couldn‘t help but to think it again as he observed the sleeping face of the man in front of him. He reached out his had and poked Woo Hyun on the cheek. When the other didn‘t respond he did it again, still getting no reaction. Sung Jong gained a little more confidence as he leaned forward to just touch his lips to Woo Hyun‘s cheek. He wasn‘t expecting the other male to turn so their lips touched. It took a few minutes for Sung Jong to register what happened so when he did he quickly backed up with his hand covering his mouth.
He looked to the other male and he was staring right back at him with a smile on his face. “I don‘t mind cause I kind of like the hard-working boss’s son that‘s easily flustered by a simple kiss.”
“How much did you here?” Sung Jong‘s question was slightly muffled by the hand he still heard over his mouth.
“Everything,” Woo Hyun said with a smile as he sat up, “I‘m kind of a light sleeper.” Sung Jong wasn’t sure whether he wanted to curl up in a ball and disappear for being found out in such a strange way or smile like an idiot because Woo Hyun didn’t seem to hate the fact that Sung Jong likes him. He decided to go with the latter.
