"I've learned how well God knows me. I've learned that He does things at certain times b/c He knows that is exactly what I need. I can't stress how evident this has been to me this summer....how much I have had to learn this lesson over and over again."
I feel like I am learning this lesson right now, for the first time in my life...even though growing up, this is something we were all told a million times. Things will inevitably happen in our lives that will change us...sometimes in small ways, and sometimes in huge ways. And for the longest time, I dwelt on certain events that did not go the way I thought they would...making myself (and others who tried to help me) miserable...simply because I refused to understand the simplicity of God's love. I refused to understand that "God does things at certain times because He knows that is exactly what I need." And here you go, writing just what God wanted me to read this morning.
I feel like I owe you an apology. I don't really know what for, I'm sure there are plenty of things. But I hope you will forgive me for being so lame.
