Boy In The Bubble- The boy in the bubble, the boy getting bullied, clearly feels alone in some way, given the bubble. And rather than fighting back, he simply let the bully beat him. He says that the he doesn't fight back to give the bully the satisfaction. The bully is dealing with his drunk and abusive father. It shows that the boy in the bubble is trying be empathetic. In a way, the boy who is the bully and the boy who was the victim really aren't that different. I mean, different situation sure, but how their situations are making them feel really isn't that different. The bully probably feels alone with his situation. The way I personally would interpret it, is that the boy who is being bullied doesn't want to give the bully the satisfaction by fighting back, and yet at the same time, he is being empathetic for the bully.

The Breakup- after you found out from your best friend that your childhood sweetheart had been cheating on you when he's gone at work, you leave and never come back until 10 years later when you accidentally encounter him at a coffee shop. you came back to visit your parents but why did he have to be here?? it's too emotional and you can't handle it, running out to your car with tears flying out of your eyes, you leave your coffee and drop your wallet in a rush to get into your car, and you realize you don't have your keys. you start to panic and he quickly rushes out to help you like he used to all those years ago. it starts raining and he offers to take you back to his place since it's closer and the storm is bad, plus you shouldn't be driving when you're so torn up and maybe you can get some closure.
