It's lots of days into 2011 and it really doesn't seem to be sucking less for most people than 2010 yet. I feel there should be a rule about that

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! I waited to comment until I'd listened to all the songs.
I have to assume that "I Wanna Go To Marz" is there especially for me. Do not disturb my self-centered assumption. *g* I don't remember hearing that song of his before, though I'm quite sure I've seen him perform "Sigourney Weaver." I first heard of John Grant years ago. He was very difficult to find information about online because of his name. Even "Czars" was tough on Google! Anyway, his stuff is fantastic, and I always remember how mellow the guy is live. I mean MELLOW. I also always remember how nice, amusing, and weird he was the one time I talked to him at some length after a show.
Um, moving on.
I cannot get into "Sprawl II" despite hearing it numerous times since it was released. Defriend me now.
Or maybe don't defriend me because I still enjoy that Fyfe Dangerfield album a lot and am very glad you told me about it way back when.
You're probably also the person I got a Hurts song from months ago. It came up randomly in iTunes in December, and I liked it so much I went and got the whole album. (I'd tell you what song it was, but I still have no iTunes while my regular computer is dead - it's like the third world. ;-) The album got repetitive to the point where the songs started sounding bland, which is wrong since that band is not bland. They're also nowhere to be found in the US - it was hard finding a copy of the album.
This comment is too long. But it means that I very much enjoyed your post.
