I've nearly abandoned this live journal thing. Oh wellsies!
My semester officially starts in 32 minutes. Yes, my first class is at 2.
I need a job like whoa. I'm afraid of Pine Rest and want the convenience of a job on campus instead, but it seems you have to have sex with a lot of people for that. Fingers crossed.
I hate school. If I could drop out I would. I don't want classes and homework, they get in the way of my life. Whine!!
Break was FANTASTIC. Aside from being in Coldwater... I could have done without that. But I was glad I got to see friends there. First I went to Duluth with Alternative Breaks and had an awesome time! I'll give more details later if I feel like it. Then I spent a wonderful weekend with the David, went to Coldwater for the holiday with the families, then came back home to David. :-) It was just us for a week and it was one of the best I've had in a LONG time. We went back to Coldwater for a day so I could throw my New Year's party. It was cute, just like always. We had REAL WINE at midnight this time... zomg. We also had a white elephant gift exchange, which I feel went over quite well. I don't know why I never thought to do it before. Regardless, I think it might be the last party at my house in Coldwater, which gives me mixed feelings. Aside from having to work from now until forever and not knowing if/when I could have that time off to throw a party three hours away, I just don't like being in Coldwater at all. It's not the town's fault, I'm a small town girl and I can handle being bored. Coldwater is simply no longer home. This year, that grain of truth hit me like a brick. But it's cool... at least I have a home here. And it's a great one. :-)
