Major Events:
Feburary 29th : Married my now wife, Lisa Moreland Stroup, who is now carrying our future baby in her tummy, she's due February, but we have yet to learn the sex.
I bought a townhome. It's a 2 story 2/1.5, and I like it, thought I still kind of feel like I'm renting. It feels harder and harder to make a place a home everytime I move. My parents home in Orlando is still the only place since Pennsylvania I actually feel home at, like most of my fears and regrets and worry just fade away.
And the lady who owned the house before owned 3 cats, and the carpet is disgusting. We still need to replace the carpet on the stairs and in the two bedrooms. In the living room I replaced the carpet with laminate wood flooring, which looks really nice in my humble opinion, but I still need to finish it up (installing thresholds at entrances and quarter round along the walls).
Work Related:
As you may or may not know I am still working at MarineMax. I started as an apprentice technician, got "demoted" to a yard tech/boat washer, then "promoted" to the Warranty Administator/Service Advisor. I now deal with three different manufacturers on a daily basis for warranty, those being Meridian Yachts, SeaRay, and Boston Whaler. I am officially capable of doing Cabo Yacht warranty, however it's like pulling teeth attempting to even contact our representative.
Unrelated:
I recently saw a quote, "That which nourishes me, also destroys me." I never quite understood what that meant until this morning, when it clicked into place.
