Has anybody heard a quote like this before?
"Its smarter and easier to maintain a bridge then it is to burn it."
I say this because I've had moments of great epiphany like this and someone else has already thought of it. If nobody else has already thought of it, then that sucker is mine!
Bits of awesomeness from Kristin Roth's Facebook:
"Isn't faith believing all power can't be seen?" - Josh Groban
"I never said it was going to be easy, I only said it would be worth it." - from a picture of Jesus.
From comic books:
(As the young Flash Bart Allen is trying to push the murderous Superboy-Prime into the Speed Force)
Superboy-Prime: Stupid little kid. Left all alone.
Bart: (Punch) SHUT UP! (Punch) I'M (Punch) NOT (Punch) STUPID!
(A hand reaches from inside the Speed Force, accompanied by a voice)
'Bart.'
(Barry Allen emerges from Speed Force and choke holds Superboy-Prime)
Barry Allen: You're not alone either.
Bart: Grandpa?!
- Geoff Johns "Infinite Crisis #4"
"That's something I have never fully understood about humans for all the years I have walked among them. How pride demands life for the bruises it suffers. How it engenders violence. How an accident of birth, or an arrangement of rivers or mountains or the building of a wall, how a difference of pigmentation or gender of language can fill them with such PRIDE that they would kill to maintain its illusion." - John Ostrander "World War III" (from DC Comics)
"The hardest part about coming home is realizing you're not the same person that left" - Geoff Johns/Brad Meltzer "Justice League of America"
Oh, yeah, and GOOD RIDDANCE! Ahahaha!
