and the last two lines... out of curiosity what did you mean by them?
personally i'm getting the feeling of how romance hasn't really necessarily disappeared, its just cheapened. maybe its due to my personal experiences, but i'm interpreting those lines as saying that people just sort of use romance now only when then need/want something, i.e. fulfillment "in between dreams" which, i'm sure i don't have to expand on :P
