happy valentines day!
at lunch i suprised tiff with flowers w/ a heart vase and a gift bag with lilac bath stuff and a matching purple unicorn (she likes unicorns). it seemed to brighten her day, which was my intention. earlier we had to go to the hospital to get her glucose test for gestational diabetes, which wasn't too much fun, although i think the stuff they made her drink tasted better than she was expecting. the results come back tomorrow, wish her luck!
we've been relaxing mostly.. went and saw a horror-type movie with tia yesterday called "hide and seek".. it was pretty good. we also saw "the wedding date" on friday, and we really liked it. i think we need to start watching more silly romantic comedies; we leave the theatre feeling a lot happier than after watching our typical horror/suspenseful movies.
i finally hooked up my music gear last week and played around with it for the first time in months. it felt good, and i really like what i was able to come up with quickly. as soon as we get the new hard drive and have the computer running, i really think i'll be able to produce some really good final tracks.
heather and michael finally came over to see the house yesterday.. they seemed to like the place, although i wish they could have stayed longer tho. heather seems to be working way too much.
now we gotta figure out how to do our taxes with all the new stuff included (house/mortgage, marriage, etc). yay.
