Saw The Station Agent
and it was really pretty good. Nice study of how relatively (self-)isolated folks get along and interact in a small town.I recommend it. Left me feeling in an up mood. Proceeded to Ben & Jerry's thereafter to get sonny boy ice cream, then to Top Dog for a bock and a linguica. The cool guy working the counter was playing Toots in Memphis I believe. A bunch of old r&b tunes redone by the reggae guy. Very upbeat and not generally what I listen to but just right for the mood I was in. Came back and _had_ to watch Junior Senior's Move your Feet, Gonads and Strife, and of course the truly disturbed Kikkoman Fight and Yatta animations. Oh and this must be seen to be believed.
