That's cool, I certainly don't mind. You really have to have a thick skin when you post on lj_biz - lots of truth to that. :)
OK I'm not sure if I get your points well here (haven't read the pages referenced yet) but what I'm reading is that the folks with what you consider to be offensive names would be auto categorized as an R or greater rating? I don't see a problem with that myself.
I had no idea that Suggestions was moderated. Then again lj_biz is so I suppose that makes its own kind of sense. What I can't stand though is that no one wants to hear what anyone else has to say anymore and that your suggestion was squelched. Increasingly LJ is less and less democratic and tolerant. This saddens me and is the basis for my biz post.
Your suggestions seem to revolve around the "names on your friends list" issue and seem to key into what I'm proposing about private journals, though I'm not completely certain of that. Seems to me what you're asking for would fit under the private journal thing - and if that's your bag, then as long as you're willing to pay for it I'm OK with it. I don't agree as far as in in-general case is concerned but it may well work for those with say, G-rated journals as well.
Don't apologize - I made my journal public for a reason - even if people want to slag me. I believe in the freedom of speech regardless.
