I actually never saw the original BSG, so I was surprised when my friend told me the other day that Starbuck was originally a dude. I guess I'm not TOO surprised.

She asked me if the current BSG is a continuation from the original. Is this the case?

I suppose it's a good thing (in your story) that Tom Zarek is 30 years older than Apollo -- otherwise they'd both be hauled away as Cylons, LOL.

Heheheh. I'm thinking that the fact that Apollo looks "something like" Zarek is part of the mistrust here, but in 1000 words I didn't have a chance to explore it.
