105 degrees out, cafe roti, yearbooks, and will farrell

woke up late for a lunch to see the calc class & ms. bentley.

got there like an hour late, and overpaid for a lunch that i barely ate ($7.99 for a buffet, but i only ate a plate & 1/2).  it was fun to see everyone, but at the same time, it finalizes how we are all parting ways and embarking on our journey, like so many before us, of surviving college.  chelsea, as usual, is loud as ever, and kept the noise level up.  like chelsea g said when she got back from the loo, you can hear her from the front.  i heard her as i was walking back.  yeah, ahd she noticied my hair...three months late -- both me and stephanie were discussing that.

chelsea has decided to make ms. bentley a facebook, so i have to email the pictures to her.  *______*  gah.  of course, it was a 105 degrees out, so it's swealtering as we're trying to take a group picture.

we all decided as a group to go up to the school and get our yearbooks to save us a trip the next day, and as soon as we got there and said hi to the faculty and some teachers, we TRIED getting our yearbooks, but mrs. cotney was uber firm and made excuses that the yearbooks weren't unpacked or sorted, etc etc.  a load of bull because they just come in boxes, and the nametags don't come pre-attached to the cover.  phft.  chelsea even tried pulling the "i'm leaving tomorrow card" but it didn't work.

after going to see ms. haubry and trying to get ahold of Ms. Parsche on a recommendation of Ms. Haubry's -- it concerns double majoring with Music Management, and I had to leave a note -- we went over to Phillip's where we made smoothies and watched Bewitched, which sucks.  I really dislike Will Farrell.  I'm not a big fan of stupid films, or actors like WIll Farrell who are stupid like that.  I mean, i am a fan of humor and comedy, but tastefully done and/or not to an extreme extent.  perhaps if Will Farrell's humor wasn't so extreme, i'd probably be ok with it.

anyways...that heat today was sweltering, plus it didn't help that i have a compulsion to wear jeans.  yeah, didn't help.  huge load of laundry...two loads.  or one super and one small/medium load.  I realized after i chucked everything I wanted for the first load that I should have separated it to towels/bedsheets and clothes, but i didn't.  dork.

still haven't read any of my book.  been planning a butt-load of events with all my friends for the next week because i'm so scared? that i won't see them before i leave for NC, and when i get back, they'll already be gone.  it's weird to think that some of my best friends won't be here randomly for that movie or coffee.  that makes me so sad because i'm scared we'll drift.  i know that i'll develop friends in the next four years at college, but my friends from this stage in life are wonderful people and don't want to lose that connection.

grr.  craving curry chicken now.

my mom's walking without her walker now.  yay.  like 3, 4 days of actual civility with her turns to zip after a couple refusals on my bit (mostly due to frustration & lethargy).

i'm watching "Down in the Valley" (starring Edward Norton) with cheryl at the Polk Theatre Friday.  STudent tickets are $4.  come see it!!
