I'm feeling very perturbed, grossed out and all over like I need a shower.
There is this supervisor at ups, that is a full timer. He isn't very well liked because he can't do his job right, he's sexist, agist, and an all over pig.
Tonight there were two really big leakers in small sort at the same time, that is his area. He runs it. When they got up to the leaker, they noticed he was trying to clean it up with his hands. No gloves, nothing. Totally unsafe. I can't think of how many times I seen hydrochloric acid come through.
Being the co-chair of safety, I asked him later if he had washed his hands after he had touched it. He said yeah. I asked him "Did you wash them for 15 minutes?" He was like "Yeah, right after I took the heat off" and Made the jacking off motion with his hands.
I was so utterly grossed out. It was completely inappropriate and I shudder now to think of it. He grinned like it was the funniest fucking thing in the world. The only thing I could think to say was "don't blame me if it falls off" I didn't know what else to say, in my head I kept thinking how much I hoped it would. Lucky for me, Matt, my friend and a supervisor was right behind him and heard and saw it too.
Afterward I called over My supervisor Kris, who I absolutely adore, and told her about it, and how I felt about it. She is a pretty professional woman, We joke around and whatnot, but I don't hear her swear often. The next words out of her mouth were "That Stupid Fucker" She marched off quickly, I didn't know where she was going, and she pulled over one of the head full timers, Gail. She was like, Megan, Tell Gail what you told me. I retold it, and she was livid. She was so pissed. She Told me how innappropriate it was, and how sorry she was that it happened and that I was put in that position. She said she was unsure of where to go from there, Whether to Tell Jim Zavodny, Our Hub manager, or Shane, Our human resources manager.
It wasn't my intent to get him in trouble. I was just grossed out and weirded out and was venting to Kris about it. He has made some sexist comments in the past, so I don't think it'll help his case, and the fact that matt heard it as well really doesn't help.
My full timer came up and talked to me about it as well. Jim jokes around every once in awhile, But when he came over, he was completely serious. He even reffered to josh as "Mr. Severson" So I knew he meant business. He said, Oh... I see. In that Very angry kind of way. He looked pretty pissed about it as well. I didn't want to report him, like, I knew it was innappropriate, and everyone keeps telling me it was, but I feel weird and almost bad. I feel dirty in a way. I hardly know josh, If one of my friends made that comment, I'd still be a little grossed out, What with being a lesbian and all. But someone I hardly know, Someone who is a superior and should be in charge, Someone who should act and behave appropriately? I know its unacceptable.

I guess I"m really pale right now. This situation just makes me feel dirty and unclean and ruded out and I feel like crying.
If this blows up the wrong direction, I don't want to be blamed. It wasn't my intent.
