I've decided to follow the lead of a friend and start a new private game. It involves picking a word, a fascinating, uncommon, baffling word, and then attempting ot use that word in sentences (in context, fitting the situation) over the course of a week. A perfect usage in the right context scores a full point, a semi-success scores half a point. My friend does this in English, being an Englishman, but I thought I should add a twist and do it both in English and in Finnish.
So without further a due.
English: Nebulous; fuzzy, unclear, misty, etc.
The sky was nebulous on the New Year's eve. 1 point.
Finnish: Liipotin; tasaaja. The balance (wheel) in a watch/clock.
Onkohan tämän taskukellon liipotin rikki? I'm giving myself no points since that sentence was not in a context. (Translation, I wonder if the balance (wheel) on this pocket watch is broken?)
