demon!Dean all fucked up from Hell and Sam not giving a flying fuck just happy to have his brother back. I love it. It reminds me of paxlux's Howl!verse which is my favorite of all favorites.

The first and, to this day, best demon!Dean fic I've ever read is Paxlux's everlovin' baby girl!Dean verse, so although I have not read the Howl verse, I can ONLY IMAGINE how good it is, so this is a great compliment. Everlovin' Baby was definitely the main inspiration for this. :)

I love that you've twisted Sam's martyr complex, the way he takes the blame for Dean's behavior but none of the guilt. I love that the thread of protectiveness remains throughout, mangled and turned inside out though it may be.

Hhaha, that line. I thought of that response as soon as I saw your tag and thought up a way to work it into every one of the, like, three scenarios I was tossing around in my head when taking way too long to decide what to write for this.

MY TRICK IS...I don't know. I have no idea what is in this story. I had three hours left and just kinda threw up into word and this came out. GREAT TRICK, VERY USEFUL TRICK, WOULD TURN THIS TRICK AGAIN.
