On a different note, I love this! In spite of sniffling through it and wishing there would be a Dean cameo. It was beautiful and I loved Sam interacting with her parents, and liking her asshole cousin/uncle/whoever the best and being blown away by the expensive sheets. Fuck, why do these boys break my heart?

I am so so glad that you enjoyed this, BB. Thank you so much for letting me know what you liked!
And LOL--you're not the only one who was wishing for a Dean cameo! My beta's last comment on the final scene was "I SPY: ROOM FOR DEAN INSIDE THIS BED." We decided this is really just a Sam/Dean/Jess story in the making :P

I eat up tragedy like I eat french fries. THEY'RE SO GOOD AND YOU CAN'T HELP YOURSELF EVEN THOUGH YOU FEEL IT FUCKING YOU UP AFTER EVERY SINGLE ONE.

And yay, tragedy is definitely my favorite flavor, I won't even bother pretending otherwise.

THIS IS PERFECT, BB. I second what everyone says, this has this beautiful air of tragedy surrounding it because it could have been so perfect together. They work so well and Jess loves him so much and they get along beautifully and Jess's family loves him and then dies and I'm all *WEEPS*
This is so lovely, bb. I really love that Jess can read Sam so well. And that he's clearly not used to all this normal, but he loves it all the same *___*
