Sam/Jess is so tragic to me, but is it bad that it's not because she dies? It's because Sam misses Dean so fucking much and it's really terrible and he's trying to make a life without him and it always makes me want to cry. ;(

On a different note, I love this! In spite of sniffling through it and wishing there would be a Dean cameo. It was beautiful and I loved Sam interacting with her parents, and liking her asshole cousin/uncle/whoever the best and being blown away by the expensive sheets. Fuck, why do these boys break my heart?

Agreed! It so tragic for both of those reasons to me. I eat their tragedy UP.

I am so so glad that you enjoyed this, BB. Thank you so much for letting me know what you liked!

And LOL--you're not the only one who was wishing for a Dean cameo! My beta's last comment on the final scene was "I SPY: ROOM FOR DEAN INSIDE THIS BED." We decided this is really just a Sam/Dean/Jess story in the making :P

THERE IS ROOM FOR DEAN IN EVERY BED EVER. Especially if Sam is already occupying it. Haha and I'm mostly of the persuasion that "It's Sam and Dean and their epic love story and there's no room for anyone else ROAR MEOW BITCH FLAIL" which can be a little overboard sometimes, but Sam/Dean/Jess has a special place in my heart if done right, even though it still leaves me a little tragic and uneasy, which I wish weren't so because there's SO MUCH POTENTIAL. :glowers at stupid monogamous-shipping brain:

I eat up tragedy like I eat french fries. THEY'RE SO GOOD AND YOU CAN'T HELP YOURSELF EVEN THOUGH YOU FEEL IT FUCKING YOU UP AFTER EVERY SINGLE ONE.

Yay, my brain is mostly the same way, but I do love a good threesome and Sam/Dean/Jess is my #1 OT3. I love their dynamic.

And yay, tragedy is definitely my favorite flavor, I won't even bother pretending otherwise.

Really lovely - it can be difficult to find such deserving Sam/Jess.

THIS IS PERFECT, BB. I second what everyone says, this has this beautiful air of tragedy surrounding it because it could have been so perfect together. They work so well and Jess loves him so much and they get along beautifully and Jess's family loves him and then dies and I'm all *WEEPS*

This is so lovely, bb. I really love that Jess can read Sam so well. And that he's clearly not used to all this normal, but he loves it all the same *___*

I've already flailed at you a lot in the community post, but I thought I should flail at you some more here, because this story is so awesome it deserves all the flailing it can get.
