Read this first but saved the comment until I read the next one, just so I could get the complete experience:D

I love this glimpse of this Sam & Dean! The idea of them spending a day together like this, just being two boys, two brothers, no pressure on them from the outside world and being able to be normal kids, is such a lovely, heartwarming thought. And then you add the dawning of Dean's realization that he loves his Sammy and the flangst is so palpable I can taste it and it's delicious and bitter on my tongue and it makes me want more! (which is a good thing there is the next part to reread :D)

Of course, poor Dean would want to give his Sammy a normal-kid's day and of COURSE he would fall in Love when he sees how happy he can make him. Dean's soul, she is golden (and apparently female, IDEK).

This, this is just so, so domestic and lovely and sweetie and *hugs the boys* Oh Sam and his longing to be normal, how he just wants a day at the pool and that's not even a lot, not really but he's just taking what he can. And Dean's just the best big brother ever. And how much do I love Sam pulling Dean into the pool? A LOT. SO BROTHERLY. And how Dean falls is in love with Sam is just so great. Oh, Dean. How naturally he just falls for Sam but he feels so horrible about it. Dean's manpain and how hopelessly in love with Sam he is. *hugs*

And there's something just hurty about them just swimming at the pool together, even though the whole scene is very sweet and makes me smile. Their lives suck so horribly in canon and probably wasn't much better and just a day at the pool (something so simple) is the closest to normal/happiness they get and it's just kinda bittersweet, even though it's written happily and OH BOYS.

Also, the brotherly banter here is A+ "I've been thinking." "I call bullshit!" = XD XD XD

DOMESTIC!BOYS WILL GET ME EVERY TIME. LITERALLY. EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Dean really is the best big brother ever. And I kind of like the idea of him falling naturally for Sam because the Love was kind of always there, it wouldn't take that much to suddenly make it break the surface and come to Dean's attention, ya know? But then shame. Because what good is a Dean is a Dean is not suffering miserably?

OMG. SCORP. EXACTLY. You just vocalized one of my favorite things about the Boys. No matter what they do, or how happy they are doing it, no matter how trivial somethings seems, it is tragic. Don't make me go on my rant about how Dean's love for pop culture is simultaneously awesomely appropriate and funny and SAD ENOUGH TO MAKE ME SOB IF I THINK ABOUT IT ENOUGH.

And I really love that you liked the banter because I love their dynamic so much and hearing that I did right by it is one of the most important things to me when writing them.

You've got me reading fic . I don't read fic. (Minus the occasional Remus/Sirius but that doesn't count because WE ALL KNOW THEY WERE COMPLETELY IN LOVE. I have read one entire series of fic in my life and it was about them.)

But I thought, "Hey, what's the harm?" and clicked the link you posted and. Oh. my. God.

1) You have simultaneously killed and corrupted me.
2) I love you for it.
3) This is perfect and sounds so right in their voices (and I'm super super picky about that - which is the whole reason I usually don't read fic, because not getting the character's voices right annoys me). Your writing is fabulous, and I swear to you I wouldn't say that if I didn't mean it.

Remus/Sirius is so beautiful. They're like my #2 or #3 or #4 favorite pairing ever, depending on when you ask me. SAMANDDEANAREFOREVER#1.
