Thank you for the wonderful compliments and for letting me know what specifically you liked. I almost changed that line because I tried to keep this schmoopy (I was originally going to make the end kind of depressing, actually) but I thought that line, while a little sad would help show how much they love each other, even when they aren't communicating so well. So I'm pretty overjoyed that rather than making it more painful, that line made you enjoy the story more.
