So I'm listening to Weekend All Things Considered, and they just did this story about some high school students who stole test answers-- I came home half-way through the story and didn't get all the details

Oh yeah, I laughed out loud when I heard the interviewer introduce him. Like "oh, lady, no..."
Once, many years ago, while I was watching College Jeopardy, they arrived at Final Jeopardy and it was very clear that one of the three contestants had no clue in re: the answer to the question. (It was something about an Eastern Bloc president in the 1990's-- one of the other contestants answered "Bill Clinton", apparently only hearing "president" and "1990's.") As they played the familiar theme music and did a slow pan over the three contestant's faces, you could see the reckless despair in this poor woman's eyes. But she saw what was truly a once-in-a-lifetime chance, and she took it. "Alright, pens down, let's see the answers. Carl, you wrote 'who is Bill Clinton'... I'm sorry, that's incorrect. And let's see what it cost you. OK, on to Sandy. Let's see, you said 'who is Joe...Mama...' Hmm. That is, ah, incorrect..." I don't know what happened to that girl, but she has a special place in my heart.
I sent an email to the "contact us" address on the Weekend Edition site. Hey, I couldn't produce a segment or conduct an interview-- but when it comes to crass adolescent jokes, I'm on the ball. Maybe just mention it to them. I'd be surprised if I were the only listener who caught it.
That was excellent. I didn't contact them about it for fear they'd edit or take down the story from their website--I linked everybody in the world to it. :D
