warped tour was insane
i am way too tired to get into detail
my ears are STILL ringing
i went up w/ jon, javi, and rachael and the whole ride there i listened to the two guys talk about cars and which car could beat which car- it was educational and pretty entertaining
we got there at around 1:00 i think and all american rejects were playing but i didnt watch them- we walked around for a while and i ran into noor, amal, and cynthia which was cool
then i ran into gaspar and i chilled w/ him for most of the day
we saw coheed which were good...and then taking back sunday which were awesome! we were in the front and ppl started pushing and a whole mess of ppl ended up on top of me but then i was saved and i made it out alive...as i was walking out of the crowd to a safer place i ran into gaby and virginia
it began to pour but i still stayed and watched taking back sunday
before that gaspar and i went to play foosball and i beat his ass twice (just had to get that in)
i later saw a hat that said "whore" on it that i was dying to buy but i dunno where that booth was so when i was ready to buy it i couldn't find it
as i was looking for the booth w/ the hat i ran into izzy, her cousin, and gaby and we met up w/ them later and ate a $7 chicken pita- WUT A RIP OFF
then we went back and saw sugarcult, bad religion, billy talent, story of the year, yellowcard, and new found glory
for all those sets i had an awesome view bcuz i stood in the front on the side right behind a handicapped person so no one could push me...it was amazing
the highlight was when i caught yellowcard's guitar pick!!!
i was soaked for the majority of the day and my temperature was never regular- either i was burning or frozen, surprisingly i am not sick though
after warped tour i couldn't feel my body because i was numb
it was a good experience - i plan to crowd surf next yr
i think it would have been more fun if the weather hadn't been so extreme and if i was more familiar w/ the music
next year will be even better
hopefully iny and danny can come w/ me cuz that would rock my world
it also sucked that vince and peter couldnt go
i also think it would be fun to like go in a giant van that has "warped tour here we come" written on it or some crazy ass shit w/ a lotta food
it would be fun to go wasted lol but the heat is way too strong so it would ruin the feeling and then i would get dehydrated and have to buy water for $3 which sucks
speaking of which, there were ppl smoking weed everywhere and like in public- i was like damn sucka..i didnt mind it
i g2g now to see "harold and kumar go to white castle"
