Last night, at around 10:00 PM EST, my Unlce Mike Tunison passed away. He died of a form of Leukimia. In his fight, the biggest worry was the bone marrow transplant may not work, but in the end, the chemotherepy to prepare for it caused his liver and kidneys to fail as the bone marrow procedure went successfully.
He died with his wife and my grandparents at his bedside. I found out when I got home tonight.
I doubt I'll be online much in the coming days, weeks.. but, I would rather not have any kind of outpouring of support from my friends.. should they read this and want to. I need to take this dark time and stand up on the legs that have been supporting me since this fight began.
I don't know what to say, or how to say it, or anything at all right now. I've never had to deal with a death so close to me. Mike, I love you, I hope if there is anything after this that it is peaceful.
