I've gotta say, Aaron, I love you kid, but you are so dramatic. It's a good thing though, it's a good thing. It means you're passionate. Never stop being passionate.
But are you really that passionate about what other people choose to write in in their stupid little online journals? I mean, come on dude. If you don't like what's being written, if you think it's petty and unentertaining, then don't read it. I mean, you said it yourself: a journal is there for you to express your emotions. So what if at the moment I'm feeling pissed off at someone? What if at that moment, all I want to do is find them and kick them in the balls? I'd say writing down what I'm feeling in a journal is a better choice than that. Why should I keep it to myself? Kicking and punching inanimate objects does not releive aggression, not for me anyways. I've tried and it does nothing. So if I'm pissed at someone, yea, eventually I'll bring it up to them face to face (or phone to phone). But most likely, before that, I'll blow off steam in my journal. Does it really accomplish anything in the large scale? No. But it sure as hell would make me feel alot better than punching a god damned pillow.
I love you and I love how excited you get about things, I just think maybe you should consider looking at the priorities. Take the energy you're using to write entries like this and start a fucking revolution dude! Fuck shit up! *laughs* I'll be right behind you.
Oh, and P.S. Should the event happen come November that Bush is re-elected, I'm going to D.C. to protest, you're welcome to join me. :)
I know what your saying and I agree with you mostly. It's cool to vent in your journal. But like, when people do nothing but vent about there problems and never do anything about them. That's annoying. You said you'd eventually take it to their face or the phone. Now that's what people never do, man. And that's why I love you.
I do get excited. Sometimes too excited. But yeah, man, I was laughing about how ironic my post was. Here I was bashing every journal ever and I was putting all this time and energy into it when I really could be fucking shit up.
If I've got them money I'm definitely going down to protest.
Though, I think my dosh'd be better spent buying a ticket out of America.
