I absolutely cannot stand it when girls say that. It is not only EXTREMELY offensive, it doesn't even fucking make sense.
Just because you have, presumably, been hurt by a guy doesn't mean that a girl wouldn't do the same. Don't even start the "girls are more sensitive and would never do that" kinda crap. Sure, girls tend to be more sensitive than guys. But as much as that is true, we're also more vicious.
Just because you "choose" not to have an interest in guys anymore (yeah right, like anyone has a choice in their sexuality) doesn't mean lesbians will suddenly be fawning all over you, and all you'd have to do is take your pick. It's not like lesbians fall in love with every single girl they meet, y'know. Saying you're gonna magically turn into a lesbian just because you're tired of being hurt by guys is like saying lesbianism is second-tier, something you would never actually want, just stuck with, because of rejection from boys.
What you dumb bitches are implying by saying this is that all lesbians and every single lesbian relationship in the world is just a joke. You bitches are saying that we're settling. That we're CHOOSING to be with other girls, to be in a homosexual relationship, because there aren't any guys who want us. Don't you fucking see how offensive, not to mention UNTRUE, that is?
I completely understand that most of the time when girls say this they're just joking. This post is not meant to be seen as me hating on or bashing anyone. It is simply a plea for all you girls out there to THINK BEFORE YOU OPEN YOUR GODDAMN MOUTHS. You wouldn't want to hear the guy you like telling his friends he'd only be with you if some other chick didn't want him, now would you?
