staples
so there is this laceration on my wrist. i know it is a laceration, not a cut, because the doctor in the ER said cuts dont show tendons and bones. give it a name, doc. just patch me up.
and he did. 8 shots of sensacaine to numb the surrounding area, 2 quarts of saline to irrigate the wound. it is about 2 inches long, and opened up about an inch wide. you could watch the tendons move when i moved my fingers. 4 xrays to make sure the bone wasnt cut or etched. it wasnt. antibiotics so there is no infection. and 5 staples holding my wrist together. sometimes it hurts. sometimes it bleeds through the gaps between staples.
and i never saw george clooney. what a gip.
