"Hey man," Jared dropped down onto the couch in Jensen's trailer and flicked on the TV, "You doing anything special?"
"Tryin' to send an email to Charlie," he looked up over his glasses, "But the stupid internet keeps cuttnin' out on me."
"You heard from her lately?" he asked, curiously.
Jensen shook his head, "Not in a couple days. S'why I was emailin' her, you know. To see how she was doin'."
Jared nodded his head and grinned his grin, "You miss her heaps, huh?"
Jensen nodded and studied his screen, "Yeah. It's been fuckin' hard without her."
Jared got up and ambled over to where Jensen sat at his desk, "You know what you need?" he clapped a hand down on Jensen's shoulder, "You need to get drunk and get laid."
Jen studied Jared carefully to see if he was being serious. When he figured out that he was, he barked in laughter, "The getting drunk part I get. The getting laid part? Not so easy out here in the fine Canadian wilderness."
Jared leaned over and whispered in his ear, "There's always me."
Jensen leaned away from him, both eyebrows cocked, "You're kidding me? You burned those bridges a long time ago, Jay."
Jared's face fell and Jensen moved away from him a little more, "I love you Jay, I really do, and what we had will always be special. But you were right in the first place. We have to work together, and we're such good friends that the sex just kinda ruined it. 'M just gonna go back to pining for Charlie." Turning back to his computer, he began to study it intently again as Jared moved back to the couch.
"So," Jared cocked his grin again, "About that getting drunk."
