(I don't ship Ryo/Uchi either...though this may be chalked up to the fact that I don't really know Uchi that well. >> WE ARE OBVIOUSLY SO PERFECT TOGETHER.)

I don't ship any pairing that has Junno in it. D: This is upsetting, but Junno just doesn't seem...shippable to me. Hahaha.

It's really dangerous and scary to say you don't ship Ryo/Uchi. People get so hideously offended and angry. I don't either. :( Mostly because I find BFF ships kind of boring. I need tension and angst... and not the ridiculous psycho angst that RyoUchi fics tend to have, even though there's no basis for that in canon...

adghjdshgkjsh really? :((( I don't ship them but I'll occasionally allude to them...? (No, I lie, RyoDa = OTP *____*) Haha, I know what you mean about the BFF ships. (Except Pin never gets boring because they're silly and stupid and adhjsghsk do you even like Pin? >>)

I just don't bother reading RyoUchi fics :(( because I'm too busy tearing apart LJ for good RyoDa fic so I wouldn't know about this psycho angst. I think I could ship Uchi with anyone OTHER than Ryo but I could never ship Ueda with anyone BUT Ryo. :(( How difficult this makes it for me.

I think it's more of a fandom thing for me. Like, RyoUchi canon is fucking adorable, but I find the fic kind of pointless because I don't really think it has anywhere interesting to go. Obviously that's kind of a broad generalisation, but I need a little romantic tension, and that doesn't really happen when two people are as comfortable with each other as Ryo and Uchi seem to be. I like Pin! I think it's cute. I'd never really ship it as an OTP or anything though jfkldajf;sdkjf probably for the same reasons. Akame will always reign supreme in my head. T_T Most of the ships I like to read about I acknowledge to be complete fantasy, and RyoDa is a pretty good example of that. The idea of it is awesome, and it should make for great fic because there's so much to do with the pairing, but it's not like there's a ton of canon interaction to obsess over.

Right - RyoUchi fandom is absolutely adorable and the fic don't really have anywhere to go with that - but I can see why some people might find this appealing. Like, Akame for er, not an example - they're totally canon BUT THEY HAVE SO MUCH DRAMA (T__T) that it's easy to make fic for them. So much adlghjshk tension, they're like childhood friends but they're also not and just. I don't even know - the dynamics of the Akame relationship are so hard to understand.

whenever anyone says that in relation to RyoDa I always think of that one really beautiful RyoDa fic The Big O by octune and uh that has nothing to do with anything but I think that's where I got into RyoDa. ...Yeah.
