"And now what are you going to do with your life?"
Today, based on my desire to wear cocktail dresses on a regular basis, I have come up with a plan for my life:
* First, I buy one (or maybe two) of the really pretty dresses that I found today. Even though I don't need them yet, when I do, there will of course be less cute ones in stores. This is how it always works.
* Next, I join some ritzy foundation/society or something like this. My mom suggested volunteering at the MFA. Places like these have fancy foundraising parties where I can wear the dress from step one.
* At these society parties, I will have to do some networking and find a. someone willing to give me a job, preferably an enjoyable one. Or b. a nice and also rich husband. Either will do, really. Maybe both.
* This job and or husband will support my future dress buying habit. And my volunteering/being a society member/having a job/being wifely will give me something more productive to do with my days than lie around the pool.
