Has anyone ever considered the fact that maybe a lot of people don't vote because they don't want to take the time to sit down and figure out what the hell all the stuff on the balet is referring to? Cause I certainly came to that conclusion today...and I am pretty sure I knew this all along. You have to admit, it takes a strong degree of focus to really get what each proposition means and what makes certain candidates more qualified than others. Sure maybe there are some who just understand things right off the bat and good for them but I think in some cases it IS better to NOT vote because I mean come on, there have got to be a fairly decent percentage of people who just go through and check things off without really thinking. Does that really count as someone voicing their opinion? Is that what America really wants? I think it's just stupid. I did this to the best of my ability and it took about 45 minutes and honestly I didnt exactly enjoy myself deciding this person is better than this person, etc.
All I am saying is, it is sensible that some people do not vote. Unless you really care and can understand everything on the balet, it might not be such a bad idea to simply refrain from voting. In some ways I believe we are better off that way.
And for some reason I cannot remember or find out how to spell balet correctly at this time.
