@ Hello all. Last week and the previous one were disasterous. At work I mean.
I was just exhausted, staying after hours, feeling a bit betrayed by our new manager who seemed to be so effin nice. All in all manager cannot be your friend - and I experienced that severely. I have no time for Twitter, lj, for my Mark, for daily_lampard, ANYTHING. I come home and sleep immediately :/ Anyway - work sucks now. I still love it, but such huge stock things to do makes me sick. But I have no other choice - so I'd better stop this rant.
@ Sunny weekend at home with my Granny. I went to order a tomb for my mother and uncles, something which is obvious in Poland because our cementaries look like ancient lapidaria.
Not only tombs as a stone poll, but real works of art. Anyway - I ordered something pretty, looking like a small chapel, made of dark grey stone. I wouldn't write about it to you but one thing is epic about the stone that this tomb will be made of. It's called IMPALA. *head desk * [people who are watching Supernatural KNOW what it means] . Anyway when the guy who I bought this tomb from told me this stone is called like that I decided on that kind of tomb immediately. It was just impossible to refuse. Not mentioning I was trading with this guy like I used to do in Israel - old good Jewish/Arab school ;) so I gained some money and more stuff for this tomb [beautiful lantern for instance, for free ;)] anyway. IMPALA. Hell I almost want to have it over my grave in future. Even though I don't want any grave - just to be burnt and my ashes to be brought to Sherwood.
@ Football.
Season is nearly over, my lads are runners-up, Raul won a cup, Real won a cup, even Guti got a cup and stays with Besiktas. It was a good season. Full of nerves, 4 months without Frankie, another lost CL season, but... it was ok. Hope Carlo stays with us. We need him, he is a really good coach.
@ Tv series. Apart from "Game of Thrones", "Borgias" and "Supernatural", I'm watching "Camelot".
One bloody, full of sex tv series, a bit different version of Arthurian legends, but still interesting. It starts where "Merlin" tv series ended. With awesome Joseph Finnes as Merlin and divine Eva Green as Morgaine. I was trying to watch "Spartacus: Blood and sand" as well, but this amount of blood is too much for me. Even though the Spartacus himself is played by "Gabriel" - Welsh actor Andy Whitfield. Andy suffers from cancer and had to give up on this role. It's sad really sad, because he got something really beautiful inside, since I saw him as Archangel Gabriel I felt something for him. Now, if I continue watching of "Spartacus" it will be only for him. Sympathy? maybe. I just want enjoy his acting, and I hope he will overcome his illness.
@ Tv series: Supernatural.
Today I watched episode 22nd. I ached. A bit bitrayed? Like Dean? Watch for yourselves but... I hope for something really epic in season seven. ANd I still believe in Castiel, angel of the Lord.
@ Tv series: Vampire Diaries.
Stefan followed Klaus. Damon is saved. For a while I hoped Damon would die, really. I know I'm a bitch, but... Elena was so good for him then, when he was dying, she kissed him ffs. But she did that only because he was dying. Hell, now, when Damon is ok, Elena will be a bitch for him all over again.
@ Films. I've watched "Priest" recently.
I adore Paul Bettany, this pale Brit with piercing blue eyes. This time, after being Archangel Michael and monk Silas, he's wearing a habit again, fighting with pretty ugly, eyeless vampires. This film got something from "Mad Max" , something from "Blade runner" something from "Legion" as well. And for sure something from wild west films. Maybe it's a b-class film, but I enjoyed it. Not that bad. Especially that there was a wasteland there. A desert. Next week I wil lwatch POTC 4. Heard from my friends it's not that good as previous parts but it doesn't matter. Anything for Jonny Depp and his Cpt. Jack Sparrow. And Penelope this time ;)
@ Summer outside. I'm on a train to Gdansk, carrying with me my heavy, 20 years old bicycle. Made in USRR. Practically new. My sis, bless her, convinced me to do it. Now I need to re-learn to ride it. So help me god.
@ A song for today? Something about eternity, perfect for any funeral. Kansas and
Carry on my wayward son
There'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don't you cry no more
