You finished it!

It's lovely. And it hurts me inside in a completely delicious way. I know that you feel like you argued with this fic in trying to get it to do what you want: this comprimise you arrived at is just wonderful!

It came together all in a rush at the end... *beams fondly at it*

I'm glad you like :)

That was a new change just before I posted, which is why you didn't pick it up.

Oh, I'm glad you like the Language Worries. Bridget didn't, although I think I improved them somewhat after she left scathing remarks.

I 'm also vr. glad the ending works...

I believe I proposed marriage, in order that she might make scathing remarks at me forever.

Read from start to finish, and you are well and truly forgiven.

I was going to say something intelligent, but come to think of it I'd probably better just stick with enthusiastic flailing. You already know what my expression looks like right now, anyway.

Um, YEAH. I normally don't even like bookverse Suspian - it usually feels a bit out of place - but you are officially the first person I've read who makes this pairing work while staying explicitly bookverse. And it's all symbolic and prettyful. Does it make me weird that I absolutely adored all the Prunaprismia subtext and the garden scene?

I knew you'd like Prunaprismia. She was a fun character.

Does it diminish your love of the garden scene if I point out that enclosed gardens symbolise virgin wombs, and the virgin mary, and PRUNAPRISMIA IN A GARDEN WITH ASLAN AND A BABY is really creepy? Or did I already warn you about that bit?

You may be weird for liking them, but I'm glad you did :). It means you kept up with me and my morrass of symbolism and subtext, which is a good thing. I am a textbook case of Why You Should/Not Do As Lynette Tells You And Read All Sorts of Religious And Mythological Works. Should, because then you get to decode people who write in cryptic references. Should not, lest you turn into me: someone who sets out to write straightforward snogging and finds herself weighed down in ten thousand words of literary and religious references.
