Haha! My "general" Hugo actually leans more towards bi, but Conquest!Hugo is all about the ladies. It's rather funny.

Ah, as your "general" Hugo has a lot of Conquest!Hugo's traits (both are vain, self-centric and gorgeous as fuck :D) I thought about them as one person. But now I know better and will have a closer look to search for differences.

Oh, yes. I like it when Harry is not the 'good boy' everybody thinks he is. And as he would have been nearly sorted into Slytherin, I can see the cunning and manipulative side of his character. I don't need it all the time, but love it when it fits (like here) to the story.

Hee! I think Hugo, in general, in my head is vain, self-centric, and gorgeous as fuck regardless of verse. I tend to have characteristics that cling to any character regardless of ship or fic, but I get the chance to explore the vain self-centric aspects of him in this story as well as Conquests verse.

Glad you liked those little touches for Harry that came through here <3 I hope Thestral enjoys it!

Oh, this Thestral enjoyed it very much! :D I already commented on AO3, but I don't mind telling you again what a fab job you did! Hugo is just a crazy little genius, isn't he, terribly manipulative and bloody gorgeous and Harry might have slipped into shoes a size too big for him. Might have. With Harry it's never over until it's over, is it - I mean, the stubborn little bastard beat the meanest motherfucker of our time even if he had to die - and come back with a vengeance to prove his point. I think Hugo might have won a battle, but who knows about the war!? :D I think Harry might just be the guy to provide Hugo with a challenge he's looking for.
This one just calls for a sequel! :D Pretty please? *insert cat-in-boots eyes* You can advance it for the b-day I have next year! ;)
