geez. Wow. What a dynamic you have given these two. I always like fic that have Draco and Astoria as a political/arranged marriage deal. And the details about Daphne getting out of it were fascinating.

And Draco the potioneer! He did have legit skills as well as Snape's favourtism. And the bits about him using the potion more and more on her... wow.

Poor Astoria. What she's going to feel like the next morning... Or is Draco going to be able to completely conceal it from her?

I am quickly replying on my.phone before work so excuse any errors. I'll reply better after work. I just wanted to address your comment about Astoria and suggest that you re-read the last paragraph and know that I occasionally like subtle twists. :)

Hey there! I am home and now able to type normally so I can answer this. I really appreciate your comment! I'm really glad you enjoyed this, and it's wonderful that you enjoyed the progression! Daphne is a favorite lately, so I had to make a reference. She even took over and played a significant part in the Hermione Sex Club fic I wrote last weekend. LOL Anyway, I thank you so much for taking the time to comment!

Also, I have to self-pimp for a moment because I saw one of the prompts you made was really very close to a fic I wrote several years ago so I thought I'd point it out in case you wanted to read it while waiting for someone to write your prompt? Up to No Good is a Fred/George/Hermione taking advantage and progressing etc. :)

I feel like I've been commenting such a lot lately! I just have so much to say, apparently, sorry! First of all, wow. Dirty Astoria, and dirty Draco! Interesting how ahe takes power from being used like that, knowing that Draco likes it even more thinking she has no idea what's happening... Very twisty-tricky! Second of all, I couldn't help but wonder just how much of a hand Astoria had in making sure that present she got Draco would conveniently have such a potion listed... Hmmmmm...
How did you feel writing this? It has a different feel to it than I associate with most of your other work, and I'm not sure how much of that is in my head, or if you were playing around with new things... So, I'm curious :)

Feel free to comment as much as you'd like! I'm so glad you enjoyed this one! I'm also happy that you caught the reference to that potions book! *bounces* It's such a subtle little reference that I wasn't sure who'd catch that hint that some things might not be how Draco sees them. Anyway, I had fun writing this because it's not often I explore two characters that I see in this type of relationship. It's also a kink I've never written (non-con type events or unemotional sex aren't two things I'm known for, to say the least) which added to the fun trying to write it well. I think part of it might also have to do with the fact that their relationship isn't what I normally enjoy writing. I'm a romance and love kind of girl, but these two had neither, so the power struggle, even if Draco wasn't aware of it existing, was different than what I'd write if it was two different characters. If that makes sense? I think the Sirius/Lily one I just posted is also a different tone than I usually write, but I'll see what you think when you read that ( ... )

Which Sirius/Lily one? Both of the recent ones are things I wouldn't normally think to read... But wow. I suppose I could comment on them individually--but super hot! I've never read such a strongly defined Lily (in the one I think you mean?)
And yeah, I caught the reference! It's the historian/librarian in me! :D
I can't help hoping for some sort of followup in their relationship--wondering if she's softening towards him as she weilds more power without him realizing it, or if it remains a total power battle, or if he finds out and... Well, yes, lots of wondering; a very interesting couple with an interesting relationship!

Mischief Managed is the one I was thinking about! It was a lot of fun to explore Lily and her characterization for that one. *grin*

Some fics I read mostly because I'm intrigued, despite the fact that they *might* be triggering.I think this is one of those -- I like your writing, and the summary got me like "oh?". I can't resist gangbangs, woops. This was quite troubling to me though (probably because it's more realist than most gangbangs we usually see around), up until the end. Oh, what an EXCELLENT twist. And like... the Greengrass sisters are among my favourites, and my headcanon is that Daphne is a lesbian and that's what she didn't marry Draco. So I love what you did there. I always imagine Astoria was not too upset about marrying Draco because she's very ambitious and political, though. So the end of this fic kind of suits that, you know? How cunning of her.

Hee! Thank you very much, dear! I'm so glad you enjoyed the twist and that it changed the way you'd read the story. I, too, see Daphne being lesbian or leaning towards bisexuality than enjoying an arranged marriage. The thing to consider is that the Malfoys likely had very little political power after the war and, if anything, used the Greengrass name to better themselves since we don't actually hear any Death Eaters or Voldemort's supporters with that name. at least, that's my general headcanon for them, and obviously I don't see them being this type of relationship in a normal setting, but it fit for this prompt and took certain traits from my headcanon and made sense. Anyway, I'm so pleased you liked it and didn't intend to ramble! :D

Haha, always feel free to ramble about headcanons, I love them, especially about the Greengrasses. I agree, I imagined they had a good reputation post-War, hence the marriage (whereas Draco couldn't possibly marry Pansy anymore). And while the headcanon I use the most often is lesbian!Daphne madly in love with Pansy (OTP alert!), bisexual!Daphne is a lot of fun to write and read too :)
