Fandom Wish List
I just finished working day 12 in a row, ending up with 103 hours in two weeks. Yay overtime but OMG so tired and exhausted. So, I used the time to write up a holiday wish list!
The Fandom Wishlist Meme
Step one
Make a post to your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related: fics, picspams, fanmixes, etc, to medium: dvds, books, bracelets, etc, to really big: a new computer, a car, etc. (If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your e-mail address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you).
Step Two
Surf around your reading list to see who has posted their list. If you see a wish you can grant, go for it! Either make that fandom item, or hey sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, maybe they wanted a leather jacket for cosplaying Jason Todd and you've been meaning to give one to a thrift store, etc, etc, etc. .
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to give and to receive. There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just... wish and try to fill and you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

♥ Volunteers to upload all my fics back on Perfect & Poisonous since it crashed and lost everything, and I never have time to work on that.
♥ Feedback. I always enjoy getting feedback. Choose 5 or more fics I've written and leave me comments on them. It'll be like having a new little gift every time I open email. Or comment here and tell me your favorite fic(s) by me or what you enjoy about my writing. On that note, also feedback for other authors/artists. It's a wonderful way to tell something that you've enjoyed what they've done, even if you can only think of saying "Enjoyed it!" like me because I fail at leaving great comments.
♥ Recs. Pimp your favorite authors and artists to me. Pimp your favorite fics and favorite pieces of art. Introduce me to people or work that I might not know or might have missed or remind me of old favorites of my own. Rec me books to read or movies to see or new music, too.
♥ Snail mail. Holiday cards, postcards, or letters. I live alone now, and the only mail I get is either bills or junk mail.
♥ Refrigerator magnets or brochures (the ones that you find in like museums or shops or restaurants or travel centers). I collect both, and I need to rebuild my travel brochure collection because I lost most of mine a few years ago due to no space. I love browsing them and making wish lists for travel.
♥ Donations of money/time/food/etc. made to charity. Cancer research, other medical research, Trevor Project, humane society, battered women shelters, or other charities that you are passionate about.
♥ A happy holiday season for all of you. Good presents, great food, wonderful family experiences, or whatever else would make the holiday memorable and amazing for you.
