Ramble On
♥ It's been a while since I've posted here! Time to catch up.
♥ I love New York City. Like more than I even expected. In a "if I had a job that paid well and somewhere to stay, I'd move tomorrow" kind of way. The trip with the family was good, obviously, as I found myself just loving all the history, cultural, and vibe as I walked around. Besides doing 'tourist' things, I managed to walk around Chelsea a lot and the Village, too. Covered most of Manhattan (either on foot or on tour thingy) and we also made it to Coney Island one afternoon. As soon as I got back home, I wanted to return, though. LOL I don't even know why it hit me so well. The cost of stuff is actually not that bad compared to here, but rent is crazymaking! So, anyway, impossible dream, but I'll add it to my short list of places I'd move tomorrow if I had the opportunity. For those who do live there, talk to me about the city because I'm going into withdrawal, after one visit. *headdesk* And I might already have started saving money to try to take a quick weekend trip back on my own later this year (and I'd also like to go visit heather soon, before she forgets me, so must save for that, too).
♥ I finally got caught up with White Collar season 2 and Leverage. Loving both of them. I swear, Matt Bomer is so pretty it's ridiculous. Love that Diana is back, miss Elizabeth (though I know it was due to baby so she should be back soon), and love the Neal/Peter chemistry. Loving all the Parker/Eliot/Hardison moments in this season of Leverage, too.
♥ I haven't seen Inception yet, but I might be reading Arthur/Eames like a manic anyway *shifty* It's all over my f-list, and it's JGL, whom I've adored for years, and a hot British guy so, yeah. I have no shame? Also, I don't have enough JGL icons. Must go searching!
♥ I am keeping up with Top Chef, Project Runway, Work of Art, and I'm also following the Next Top Models in Australia and Britain. I know! I'm so weird. LOL
♥ Managed to actually get something written in the last couple of weeks. Still feel blocked overall, though. Keep hoping I'll snap out of it, but I don't know. It's probably more mental than anything, with job stress & odd RL moods etc., so we'll see. I did get my assignment for hermione_smut, and I'm happy but worried. Brainstorming it some to see what comes to mind. I'd sort of like to get it started this month or finish it, if possible, since I have classes starting on Aug 30.

It's my fault, since I'm in an odd antisocial-y type of mood & feeling lonely in RL, which somehow means I don't reach out here much, either, but I do miss y'all and hope everyone is doing well!
