DC Meet Up etc.
Hey y'all. My vacation starts next weekend (takes a moment to go YAY FINALLY), and I wanted to make a post for discussion of possibly meeting up with anyone who wants to for dinner/lunch/whatever. Someone has suggested maybe doing dinner somewhere in Bethesda and someone else suggested Ballston. Right now, I have plans to meet booknerdguru on Tuesday (9/15) during the morning/afternoon to drive up to Annapolis/Baltimore & look around. Otherwise, my time is pretty open. I'll be in DC from Monday (9/14) through Thursday (9/17) [I'll be driving up to stay with heather11483 on Fri morn]. I'll be arriving in Vienna, VA on Sunday (9/13), but I plan to chill with seakisst and relax after the drive up there.
So, if you're in the DC area and want to plan something, comment with ideas/suggestions. I've traded cell numbers with a few people already, so email me (inell13@gmai.com) if you prefer to exchange that sort of info. I'd just like to go ahead and plan something so I get a chance to meet y'all instead of waiting until the last minute and maybe not having the opportunity. Also, any suggestions of things I should do toursity around DC would be lovely, as I'll be having to do things on my own and might just go blank once there. I'd really like to see some of 'local DC', too, if anyone has some time and is willing to play tour guide for non touristy things.
*takes more aspirins and hopes this darn Headache From Hell (tm) goes away soooon*
