♥ Ugh. My allergies have been crazy this week, and they're worse today than they have been. My throat is very sore (can barely swallow), my head is killing me, my eyes are watery, and none of the meds I have seem to be helping. I've never had allergies this bad, so there must be something new in the air that totally doesn't like me. Gah. I think I might just go lie down and see if I can start feeling better. I wanted to get some writing done today and maybe some RP, but I dunno. Meh.
♥ I've gone over 16K for my hermionebigbang fic. Very happy with it, and the few people reading along don't think it's horrible, so that's good. Not at all what I thought I'd end up writing, but I'm over halfway finished, so I might try to write another between finish of this and July 3 cause I had several ideas. LOL Course, I have two other Big Bangs, but neither of those ideas is talking. I'm going to try to do them for the challenge, but I really hope I can get an idea that starts talking like the one I'm writing now.
♥ Man, speaking of hermionebigbang, I'm SO looking forward to September 19. We've had over 100 authors sign up, with an amazing variety of pairings and genres and plot ideas, and I'm so excited to read them all. I know that we'll lose some to RL or writer's block etc. *is realist* but, even with that, there are going to be some brilliant pieces of fiction (and accompanying art by amazing artist sign-ups!), and it's all Hermione, so, yeah, my little fangirly heart is bouncing around happily. I'm really loving our author comm, too, because it's fascinating to read about peoples' process and help plot. Of course, with over 100 sign-ups, we totally need more betas to help the authors actually reach the goal if RL doesn't interfere. We might need more artists, too, depending on final sign-ups, and my philosophy is that it's better to have too many than not enough. So, if you are a beta who doesn't mind helping someone with a longer Hermione fic or an artist, or know of artists, who would enjoy illustrating a fic with traditional art/graphic image/video/fanmix soundtrack, consider joining us!
♥ I've been on my ANTM marathon kick. I watched Season 6 on Oxygen yesterday, and they're playing season 7 next Sunday. Got season 1 from Netflix and have seen season 10 and 11 recently. I need to try to find like season 2, 3, and 5, I think it is. /ramble about obsessive guilty pleasure TV habits
