Fuck, I think I love you. I am absolutely enraptured with your depiction of Helene Zabini. I also love how you talked about the power struggle between Blaise and his mother. I haven't found very many Blaise fics that I really liked.

These lines I especially loved:
She was beautiful, everyone said so, but he thought she looked like a monster in those moments when she looked down at Gerald and smiled.

He could just imagine Madam Goyle facing a dragon while the Malfoys drank their wine and clapped politely.

“Why not?” Draco demanded in a shrill voice that made Blaise wonder if his parents used a silencing charm.
