It’s not until she’s fifteen and Cedric Diggory (handsome, smart, charming) is dead, allegedly killed by He Who Must Not Be Named, that she finally understands.

I really loved that line. This was so sad and sweet and insightful. I love how you made such a huge impact in so few words. Really lovely, hon! ♥

With a determined set of her shoulders, she gets a butterbeer from the refrigerator and joins her father.

I'm so impressed by your ability to move me with so few words. I was misty at the end. Beautiful, simply beautiful.

Very sad. I like you you compared Susan and Cedric to siblings, as they belonged in the same house at Hogwarts.

Thank you! I always love receiving your comments for these. I'm having so much fun writing these little gen fics that I might have to do my own challenge for them next month for myself.

I'm glad you enjoyed Dung and Orla. Especially glad you liked how Susan went and 'got' it *Grin*

Also, I know what you mean about Zach. I've got a special fondness for him after playing him at Leaky. I almost chose him as my second in SHH, but I worried he'd end up too much like Leaky Zach and that someone else might be able to do more with him in this premise. Now, I'm a bit worried about the poor boy! Haha!

I loved this.
And since I just came back from a funeral today, it brought tears to my eyes (and sent them streaming down my face).
