Swept away for a moment by chance
* This week has been busy at work. They've finally started to roll out the computer program for the docs to use so that I can officially do the position I was hired for back at the end of October. Haha! What it means is the next four to six weeks will be ups and downs as we get the ER physicians into the new way of thinking regarding appointments etc. and getting new routines and such set. May be a bit stressed/tired, but yay for finally doing a little bit more work.
* I think I am going to take next Friday off so I'll have a four day weekend. I've got two fics due for ficathons in mid-late June as well as quite a few in July that I've not even started to brainstorm yet so I may attempt to have a little fandom writing time next weekend.
* Even with the busy at work, I've managed to get two days with some time to write and got two things written. Considering it was about 10,000 words between the two, I'm kinda pleased. *Grin* One Rainy Night (Ron/Hermione, Adult) was so much fun to write (I know, I know...Ron always just takes over if I write that pair, it seems! LOL) and I gave in to a bunny that's been haunting me awhile and started Serendipity (Cedric/Hermione, Adult Eventually). This one sort of makes me nervous. It's not AU in that it is set post-HBP and more mystery/plot than just relationship/friendship/romance. It's also going to be sort of weird/odd and makes sense in my head but may not to anyone else *hee!* and, uh, it's multi-chapter, which I suck at finishing (despite the majority of my fics in the Buffy fandom being multi-chapter and many being plotty). Eh, we'll see. I'm hoping y'all will nag me to keep it updated regularly so I don't get busy and forget that it may be written in my head but not actually out on paper, so to speak.
* To go along with my little Summer Madness attempts, I signed up for Hermione at 100quills, though with a 50 prompt section. I checked the prompts against my mental list of fis I'm planning to write this summer and quite a few went really well so we'll see how I do. Thank God for no deadlines! LOL.
* In the_leaky news, my characters are having a bit of suckage at the moment. Narcissa had a relationship end and Hermione had a huge fight with Harry, which resulted in their friendship ending. Both within like a couple of days of each other. It's funny how unhappy RP characters can make you cranky and depressed along with them. LOL. *headdesk* But, yeah, I'm glad Zach isn't having any sadness. Oh, Hermione & Charlie took Quin to the zoo recently and it was too cute! I fangirl florahart, who is just amazing as Quin. Whee!
