My F-list amuses me. I love that everyone can read the same book and have such varied perspectives, thoughts, and points-of-view. From everything regarding plot, characterizations, and shipping. Some are more "hey" and some are "OMG WTF" and some are scary obsessive in ways that I get about my fic. LOL...Never a dull moment. The one part that somewhat annoys me is when I see someone has made a post regarding their opinion and people comment telling them why they're wrong. WTF? How can someone's opinion be wrong? If they want to say the sky is green and the grass is blue that's THEIR OPINION. I disagree with a few things I've seen but, hey, we've all got our personal views on things. Now that I've had time to sit back and reflect, I still pretty much stand by my initial thoughts. *shrug* I can see a bit more in favor/against a few things I initially thought but, overall, yeah. My opinion is my opinion and that's how I see it. In the end, canon was created and there were so many great things given to us that I'm not about to waste time thinking about the few things I didn't enjoy so much when there was so much I loved. And notice the lack of spoilers? *grin*
Yay! florahart has finished the book as of yesterday so we're doing a nice scene for the_leaky today. Well, tonight probably but I'm still excited.
Little brother is all excited because he's getting some sort of skateboard shoes. Okay...he doesn't ride a skateboard but seems to like the shoes? *laughs* Little sister has a new boyfriend who is totally not at all what I expected her to have but it's cool because he's one of those quiet, artsy boys who is a bit big that kids tease for being fat and she's rather popular amongst her crowd so I love that she says "fuck you" to those snobby ideals of expectation and dates the chubby boy. *nods* Even if she's a huge brat that I hope I hardly see until she's grown now, I respect her for that totally. *yes, she's entered that phase kids used to get into when they were, oh, 16? Yes, she'll be 13 this year so it's started early*

I feel like writing today but my attention isn't on any of my challenges. So I'm going to be sneaky like and do another brief challenge me type thing. HOWEVER, all you need to do is comment and say "I'd like a drabble" or something similar. You do not get to choose pairing, element, etc. MWahahaha! Means you've gotta trust me and my evil schemes. Standard disclaimer, not that I figure many people have even read this far and want to play this round of challenge me, is that fic is 100 or more words, may not be what you want/like, and I'll try to write as many as possible but may end up only writing five or ten or whatever. So, if you're interested, comment below so I've got something to do today besides watch old Silk Stalkings episodes (Rita/Chris so my first OTP that I can recall being obsessed with).
