Things are going a-okay...
I started my Tokyo shift today, which means I'm officially going into the office at 7am and going off at 4pm. Today, I managed to leave at 5pm and I feel HUMAN again. Imagine going home seeing light outside! Yay! Now I can safely meet the girls at their desired timing coz it means no more turning up late for appointments.
Best part of the deal is, I can call a cab to get me to work and get reimburse for it later! Like, yay! No more crazy peak hour bus rides, no more squeezing like sardines and no more sore calves! Balancing on high heels while on the bus can be a challenge. All these comes with practice ok!
So yes, this is the highlight of my job for the past 8 months! Other than that, nothing much to rave about. Same ol' same ol'. When is the market getting better? I'm quite sick of seeing bad news everyday! Pls let everything be better again, let me spend without guilt and hopefully a big fat pay increment to boot!
