I haven't been posting much recently because with the exception of the kids things have been crappy recently. So after about 2 years of never having PMS I've gotten my old PMS symptom back again, and it's bad. I don't know if it's because I haven't had it in a while that it seems so awful or if it's really worse, but my anxiety/paranoia is really hitting me hard. So I just called B North and asked the woman at records what happens if we haven't chosen a name yet at check out. She said they'll record everything as "Baby Boy Ballinger" and we can go home. So, yesterday I stumbled upon (through Nymbler, which is SO FUN) a name that struck me as absolutely perfect: MAX. It's short, it has the same sound as "Jack" but we wouldn't be taking it from friends who may use it down the line, it's masculine, it's recognizable without being overly common, and neither of us know anyone by that name.
