(no subject)
Ok the first "real" post here in quite a while. Well to be truthful its not really a real post more of a rambling update of what has gone on since before I decided to try lj again. Lets see here what has happed since December of 05. Well ive had and lost lets see here 4 jobs.
Lest start with the oldest one and how I quit/ended it. Well the first one was Chick-fil-A I quit for lost/quit job number 2, Bicycle Village I had a choice on the paperwork choice a say I was seasonal and get my check in 2 weeks, choice B Fired receive all my money the next day (it twas the day before payday), option c (now this is where it gets complicated) Fired with the possibility of re-hire and still receive all my money the next day. Well I chose option c. Well on to the next one mmm lets see here what was the next one Oh yes it was the Bakery. I worked there for about a month but it ended up that i wasn't the right guy for the job so I was let go. Next was Gunthertoodys I was a busboy there worst job ever I meen come on even when i was at the bar and busing half the joint I never had to save the servers asses and they work you way to hard for the crap they were paying you. That brings me to my current job that I have held for about a year and a half at this point. Walgreens how i dislike you at least a few days a week. I work as a Photo tech tho I have been trained in everything except cosmetics (not to say that I haven't pulled a shift back there) and Ive found I actually enjoy working in the pharmacy as a tech. But i can never seem to get any shifts back there so I am working on my certification so that i might just get a job back there full time.
Now on to the other things that have happened since I was on here last. MMMM well my fave local band broke up R.I.P. three cord wonder how I shall miss you. My sister is now hitched and is expecting a little girl in December this year (yah it bugs me the my sister beat me to the punch not to mention that she is younger than I am). Ive gotten my drivers license and gotten in my first crash as well as gotten my first speeding ticket. I have my pharmacy test on the 26th of this month so we shall see how that goes tho I do feel good about it for the most part. Oh yah and i have added 5 new scars to my right leg from two different falls. AHHHH yes i should tell those stories ok so I will go in chronological order. Ok well the first one looks like a demented face on my shin that one happened up my alice colorado while hiking with some friends. We had climbed up a waterfall and had a fun time doing so however we deemed it a not good idea to go back the same rout that we came so we went thru a boulder field. While traversing this rocky terrain I stepped on a piece of granite that was about a foot long and it decided to flip up and attempt to take out my leg. Well it did get my leg or at least a part of it thru the jeans that i had on. I ended up hiking out with aid of a walking stick (thank you Bre) about 2 miles after my friend Mat manged to patch me up (I wanted to kill him when he started to clean out the wound with a Q-tip) and i had to drive down a four wheel drive road the next day and go to work. Yep talk about eventful. OK now on the the other and more expensive one! this one need a bit more explanation I enjoy skiing and so thats what i wanted to do for my birthday. Arapaho Basin (best ski area ever next to beaver creek with two feet of fresh powder on it) had just opened a new area up just before my birthday (Jan. 19th) that has a bunch of blues and blacks in it. So I get my friends to go skiing with me on the 20th great time right? Well it was for about 3 runs at which point I decide that i would like to try out these new runs. So we go over to the back side of the mountain and on the way down (I was flying, if i had wings i would have been anyway XP) I got separated from my friends when i went to go do a "blue" run. it might be a blue when it is groomed but when it is not i would call it mogaled fun (if your warmed up but if you aint watch out). Well i was not warmed up enough and when i took a spill I twisted out of my left ski and it shot across my right leg. i did not feel anything at the moment so I finished the and did two jumps that were near the end of the run. On the second of these jumps I felt my right leg wobble so i figured that i should check my boot when i got to the lift. Well when I did check my boot I found it was just fine besides being filled with blood from the gaping hole in my leg. So I called for help and no one on the staff was paying attention. well when I finally got the lift operators attention he let me crawl over to a spot that I could sit while ski patrol made their way back to where I was. it took them about 20-30 min to get there by that time I had the bleeding under control and just needed them to patch me up so i could go get stitches. Once they had cleared me for travel I had my friend Mat (yes the same one that fixed me up before) drive my truck with me to the hospital to get stitches. All told I had at the end of the day 7 stitches in my right leg. Well I think that this should be quite enough for now or at least for the night or at least until after work tomorrow morning.
