I was wondering when we would pick back up with Peter and Claude! :)

Another awesome part. The action sequence was very well-constructed and executed. I'm glad that Parkman is kind of starting to turn.

Damn, I know Peter didn't want Claude to, but they really should have killed Thompson/Thomassen. That is going to come back to haunt them, probably.

As great as Claude flipping out was though, poor Peter for being freaked out by it. Those two need to sit down and deal with a lot of things, but I doubt they're going to get the chance any time soon. Especially now that they have Noah in tow.

Can't wait for the next part! :)

Yeah, sorry about that. I needed to catch everyone else's timeline up, since the characters are now starting to come together more.

Glad you liked this - I had fun writing it, when I could finally bring myself to start. Am really pleased with the last scene, so I'm glad that read well.

And yeah, Parkman! :D He's not a bad guy ...

*whistles innocently* I don't know what you're talking about ... *pretends to clean fingernails*

Hee. Of course not. ;)

Yeah, that's just a powder-keg of angst, right there. I actually hadn't thought about it at all when I conceived this chapter, but it seeped through the cracks anyway! Probably all the Claude/Bennet I've been reading/writing this week.

Even without Claude/Bennet, I think Bennet is a threat in that it has to feel to Peter that there is a whole massive chunk of Claude's life he knows nothing about. But clearly Bennet does. Not to mention that everything in Peter's life is falling apart and chaotic, and the one person he should be able to turn to is part of the mess. Peter may be undestanding and love Claude, but even he has to reach the point where it's time for a serious talk, *g*

In fact, it's going to be awfully talky.

I like talky. ;)

Yeah. I think it was sort of OK after they talked it out before, but that was before they became complicit in Bennet's escape (I mean, they were just going to leave, and not see him again for a while), and let's just say it's now a problem that's not going to go away anytime soon.

Yeah. Poor Peter! They'll have a little time to talk, but maybe not very much privacy for a while.

I like talky. ;)

Cool. Wanna write the next chapter? ;)

If I were Peter, I'd be feeling pretty confused and insecure right about now. *laughs* Poor poodle.

Well, I have to do the next chapter of Regeneration. So we'd need to switch. ;)

P.S. I've been squeeing about this but I thought I'd share. Check out this week's online comic if you haven't already. It has Claude!

Yeah. I don't know how much space there's going to be for that, poor guy. In fact, it's massively tempting to tell the entire next chapter from his point of view, but then it would just be alternating layers of angst and incomprehension! So maybe that's not the best idea.

Hee! In that case, no - because I've got no idea what's going to happen next, in your story!

*laughs* Probably not. But then again, I have a feeling Peter is going to be angsting and confused for a while. So we'll probably get that eventually.

You probably have more of an idea where my next chapter is going than I do for your next chapter. ;)

It seems like it's less about him and more about his partner. But I was still squeeing, "Backstory! Backstory! Backstory!"

(If they don't bring him back in S2, I will just die.)

I think Tim Kring has done everything but sexual favors. *g* And CE did say he would come back if he had something meaty to do (like Peter). So I can only hope.

Yeah, probably. Nobody keeps our emo-poodle down ;)

Oh hell, me too!

Is it tacky to bribe him to have sex with someone else? 'Cause ... *fishes in pockets for change*

And CE did say he would come back if he had something meaty to do (like Peter).

*snorts* We wish ;)

*crosses fingers until they ache*
